Michael J. Fatta earned a Juris Doctor Degree in 1999 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He is an active member of the Arizona State Bar and the United States District Court in the Federal Districts of Arizona and Colorado and is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Fatta began his legal career as a Legal Assistant in a bankruptcy law firm in Mesa, Arizona in 1992. He was one of the first non-attorneys to appear with bankruptcy debtors at First Meetings of Creditors. It was in that capacity that Mr. Fatta developed his passion for representing debtors in bankruptcy. Michael is keenly aware that many different unpreventable events such as illness, foreclosures, loss of employment and divorce can inevitably be a major influence in one's decision to file bankruptcy. Financial ruin does not necessarily have to follow any of these life-changing events.
